What farmers ask

Is the refund figure what SARS will pay me?

No, it is an estimate. It values each litre you logged on qualifying work at the SARS refund rate on that day. Your claim still goes through your VAT return, usually with your accountant, and SARS decides.

Can my accountant get my records?

Yes. Download everything for the tax year as one ZIP from the compliance page and send it on. Each register is also available on its own.

Does it work without signal?

You need a connection to save a record today. Pages are light, so a weak signal is usually enough.

Do I have to sell on the marketplace?

No. Many farmers use it only for their records. Selling is there when you want it.

Which languages does it support?

English, Afrikaans and isiZulu on the marketplace. The farmer dashboard is in English for now.

What does it cost?

Nothing while The Farmer is in early access.
