Oor The Farmer
The Farmer is farm software with a produce marketplace built in. It is made and run by GettinDrikkieWithIt (Pty) Ltd, a South African company that builds software products.
For farmers
Farmers keep the records their farm is checked on: a diesel logbook for the SARS diesel refund, a spray register, livestock and breeding records, labour, crops and expenses. Every record can be downloaded as a PDF or spreadsheet. The farm records tools are free while The Farmer is in early access. See what it does for farmers.
For buyers
Buyers order fresh produce straight from South African farms. Each farmer sets their own prices, and The Farmer does not add a markup. The farmer accepts the order, the buyer pays online through Paystack, and the two of them arrange delivery or collection in the chat. Browse farms, or read the Terugbetaling- en Kansellasiebeleid.
